Nationals
Columbus, OH
The skirts finished second at nationals! They played in the hardest pool on Friday emerging with a 3-0 record beating Florida, Northwestern, and Stanford. Sarurday saw a tough and physical quarterfinal vs. Carelton but the skirts beat them out to face regional rivals UCLA in the semis. The game was hard fought and heated but the skirts beat BLU for a third time this season, this time to advance to the finals! The final on Sunday was a pool play rematch against Stanford who worked their way out of the losers bracket and back to the top. The stadium was extremely windy and the conditions forced the game into a game of hucks and lucky catches, with Stanford coming out on top. The skirts played extremely well all season and are looking forward to another great year about to begin!
